It’s hard not to feel lonely without any parents, and to have this weight of responsibility on my shoulders with no one to catch me if I fall. Because that’s what mom and dad’s do, they are there for you just in case everything falls apart, they are your safe space. There is no place to run and hide anymore, even if I never needed to, I always had the option and someone to protect me unconditionally.
